Volunteer With Stream Watch!

Hi there everyone!

Do you live in or near Charlottesville? Do you enjoy the outdoors? Do you like to get your hands a little dirty? Well here is a wonderful opportunity to make a contribution to our lovely community.

Stream Watch is a non-profit stream monitoring organization for the Rivanna Watershed. They collect data, analyze it and make their findings available to the general public. Stream monitoring is not only important for our health and safety, but also for the plants and animals that live in and around our streams.

In order to collect data Stream Watch needs YOUR help. Come out to one of their upcoming training sessions (dates listed below) so you can help collect samples in the future! The more we know about our ecosystem the better we can protect and take care of it. Volunteering with Stream Watch is a rewarding way to spend some valuable time in the gorgeous outdoors! Visit streamwatch.org for more information and how to get signed up.

Hope you can make it!

Training dates:
